At Darton Primary School, we believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom. Our Enrichment Passport celebrates the exciting opportunities, experiences and adventures that help every child develop new interests, discover their talents and build confidence. We are incredibly proud of this initiative.
Throughout their time at DPS, children are encouraged to take part in a wide range of enrichment activities linked to five key areas: Arts and Culture, Civic Engagement, Nature, Outdoors and Adventure, Sport and Physical Activity, and Wider Life and Future Skills.
From joining a club, performing on stage and taking part in sporting competitions to helping our local community, exploring the outdoors and learning practical life skills, every experience helps children broaden their horizons and create lasting memories.
Children collect stamps in their passports as they participate in different activities, celebrating their achievements and encouraging them to try something new. There are also opportunities to earn bonus stamps for additional experiences, such as attending concerts, entering sporting competitions and taking part in community activities like litter picking.
Our Enrichment Passport supports our commitment to developing confident learners, kind friends and responsible citizens who are ready for the next stage of their education and their future lives.
We want every child to leave Darton Primary School with more than academic success. We want them to leave with a wealth of experiences, a sense of belonging, the confidence to embrace new challenges and the curiosity to keep exploring the world around them.
Aim High, Work Hard, Achieve Together.
