Respect is essential because it helps everyone feel safe, valued and listened to within our school community. When pupils learn to respect themselves and others, they build positive relationships and develop an understanding of fairness, diversity and responsibility. We promote respect by setting clear expectations for behaviour, encouraging good manners, and modelling respectful language and actions at all times. Through our curriculum, assemblies and daily routines, pupils are taught to appreciate differences, care for their environment and treat others with consideration and dignity.
