Enrichment clubs play a key role in extending pupils’ experiences beyond the core curriculum, providing opportunities to explore interests, develop new skills and build confidence in a supportive environment. Through a wide range of activities, clubs encourage pupils to pursue their passions, discover new talents and engage in learning in a more informal and creative context.
Each club is designed to complement the wider curriculum and support pupils’ personal development. Whether focused on sport, the arts, problem-solving or practical skills, clubs enable pupils to develop teamwork, resilience and independence while working alongside peers with shared interests. They provide valuable opportunities for pupils to take initiative, collaborate with others and build a sense of belonging within the school community.
After School Clubs
Our after-school enrichment clubs provide pupils with opportunities to explore new interests, develop skills and discover talents beyond the classroom. The offer is organised around our five enrichment areas: Civic Engagement, Arts & Culture, Nature, Outdoors & Adventure, Sport & Physical Activity, and Wider Life & Future Skills. Clubs are planned in response to pupil voice and are reviewed annually to ensure that opportunities reflect pupils’ interests and provide a broad, balanced and engaging enrichment experience. Clubs run in blocks of ten sessions, with bookings opening through Arbor at the beginning of each term (September, January and April). We ask families for a contribution of £2 per session to help cover the costs of running clubs and providing resources. The enrichment maps below outline the planned club offer for this academic year, showing the opportunities available across each enrichment area. Our offer is continually reviewed and may be adapted throughout the year, with additional clubs introduced as new opportunities arise, helping us to broaden pupils’ experiences and ensure that as many children as possible can participate in activities that inspire, challenge and motivate them.
